Romy-Alexandra Laliberté

Romy-Alexandra is a tax litigation lawyer in the Montreal office of Deloitte Legal Canada LLP. She joined the firm in 2015, after acquiring tax planning experience with Deloitte LLP.

Prior to joining Deloitte LLP, Romy-Alexandra worked for nearly two years in a boutique firm that specializes in tax litigation. Her responsibilities led her to represent taxpayers before the tax authorities, negotiate amicable settlements, and defend taxpayers' interests before various judicial authorities in matters of income tax, commodity tax, directors' liability, and judicial review.

Romy-Alexandra also had the opportunity to serve as a law clerk at the Tax Court of Canada.

Romy-Alexandra was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2013. She completed the Master of Taxation program at Université de Sherbrooke (2011), and earned a Bachelor of Laws (2010) and a Joint Honours in Political Science and Economics (2008) from Université de Montréal.

Romy-Alexandra is a member of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar), the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the APFF (association de planification fiscal et financière).
