Claire Feltrin

Claire is a member of Deloitte Legal’s Privacy and Cybersecurity team. She assists clients from all sectors in respect of a wide range of privacy and cybersecurity matters, including handling data breach investigations and response and interacting with regulatory authorities; conducting privacy and security reviews and audits; and advising on data governance, behavioural tracking, employee monitoring and internal investigations, and the strategic management of information assets.

Claire also frequently advises clients on e-commerce and marketing initiatives to ensure compliance with Canadian anti-spam legislation and has worked on a wide variety of transactions involving information technology, including technology acquisitions, licensing, outsourcing and service-provider arrangements, as well as general corporate commercial issues with respect to carrying on business over the Internet. She has held various executive positions on the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations’ Privacy and Access to Information Law sections.
