Geoffrey's practice focuses on tax litigation, tax dispute resolution and tax controversy from the audit and objection stages to tax appeals before the courts.
He has extensive experience resolving tax disputes and has represented clients in complex matters before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Geoffrey began his career as a law clerk with the Tax Court of Canada and prior to joining Deloitte Legal Canada LLP, he was an associate in the tax group of a leading Western Canada full-service law firm.
Education:
Geoffrey earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in math and economics. He was called to the bar in 2012. Geoffrey has completed Parts I and II of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course and is currently enrolled in Part III of the program.

Geoffrey is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and of the Calgary Bar Association. He is also a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Canadian Bar Association.
