Pierre-Alexandre Bernier

Pierre-Alexandre Bernier is an associate in the Tax Litigation and Controversy team at Deloitte Legal Canada LLP. He represents and advises corporations and individuals in dealing with the Canadian tax authorities, from requests for information up to complex international anti-avoidance matters. He adapts his strategy, from the audit and administrative appeal stages through to court challenges, by carefully considering each client’s specific needs and objectives.
Pierre-Alexandre also has experience advising clients with respects to various administrative disputes and judicial reviews, including those related to tax and regulations.
Prior to joining Deloitte Legal Canada, Pierre-Alexandre completed his articling at a major national law firm.

Education
Pierre-Alexandre was called to the Bar of Québec in 2023, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in civil law, LL. B. from the Laval University in 2022. Following his bachelor’s degree, Pierre-Alexandre Bernier continued his studies by enrolling in the Master of Taxation program at the University of Sherbrooke in 2023 (in progress).
