Rohit Bhatnagar

Rohit is an associate lawyer within Deloitte Legal Canada’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Law practice. Rohit's expertise extends to advising on regulatory and legal compliance matters, drafting data governance, cybersecurity, and data privacy related policies, and handling data breach and cyber incident response matters.

With over 4 years of Deloitte experience, Rohit has led privacy impact and gap assessments, developed operational privacy documents, and implemented privacy and risk management frameworks and strategies for government, healthcare, retail, and financial services clients. He is called to the bar in Ontario and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Osgoode Hall. He is also a certified ISO:27001 Information Security Management Systems Auditor and Implementer.

Prior to joining Deloitte Legal, Rohit worked with Deloitte Canada’s Data Protection and Privacy team within the Risk Advisory practice. He also gained valuable experience working as a junior cybersecurity analyst with a large North American stock exchange and as a legal intern with Canadian law firms.
